Another exciting new travel option has been announced from Exeter Airport – and this one is heading considerably further afield! ☀️🌴
A new direct flight from Exeter Airport to Barbados is planned for 9th December 2027, giving local travellers the opportunity to start a Caribbean cruise without first having to travel to Birmingham or one of the London airports.
The flight forms part of a 14-night Marella Cruises holiday aboard Marella Explorer 2, combining A Taste of the Tropics and Paradise Islands itineraries.
The cruise is set to visit destinations including Barbados, St Lucia, Grenada, Tobago, the British Virgin Islands, Antigua, St Maarten, St Kitts and Dominica.
✈️ Flying long-haul from your local airport
For travellers across Cullompton, Willand, Uffculme, Tiverton and the surrounding Mid Devon area, departures like this are another great reason to consider flying from Exeter.
Starting a long-haul holiday just a relatively short journey from home can make the beginning and end of your trip considerably easier — particularly when travelling with cruise luggage.
Of course, Devon Transfers Private Hire provides pre-booked Exeter Airport transfers for 1–6 passengers, with plenty of luggage space, direct collection from your home and flight monitoring for your return journey.
